Project Summary:

Challenge: Use a trade ad to address (1) the relative skepticism of property owners when it comes to hiring paint contractors and (2) the shoddy workmanship some paint contractors produce…and, hence, the skepticism.

Solution: Link the long client relationships Paint Pro enjoys to the quality of its workmanship.

This ad is a good example of working with a small business with limited funds. I retouched the logo onto a paint can and added a brush…took screenshots of 15 years' worth of calendars on my computer…and the ad was virtually done.

A representative from the trade magazine remarked to me how much she liked the ad, saying "it's a heck of a lot better than the stuff I usually see."
