"Show us how you would advertise Nalfon 200," a prescription foot pain medication.
Solution:
Create a short, uniquely branded—and memorable—headline that quickly outlines the problem/solution.
Then immediately pay it off with a straightforward tagline-like summary:
The prescription-strength answer to foot pain
.
This solution is highly campaignable across all media. It even had an outside chance of entering the cultural vocabulary.
Unfortunately, the prospective client decided to go with a group with more pharmaceutical experience, even though we "presented the best creative."
