Challenge: Create a capabilities
brochure that would introduce a new display company. It was fairly unique
at the time, being a fledgling subsidiary of a corrugated box manufacturer.
Solution: Connect the subject of Point of Sale displays
to the company's "points
of difference"—what
made them special and stand out in the industry.
Using the theme "The Point of Difference in Point of Sale," I
worked with ownership to outline those differences and construct a spread
based on each major difference.
I was later told that one prospect thought the company had been in business
for years and asked about acquiring it, not understanding the company had
just barely opened its doors.
