Challenge: Design the salon's
first Web site home page, on a very small budget. The remainder of the
site would be designed elsewhere, based on my design.
Solution: Use low-cost but reasonable-looking stock images
of a man and a woman with unobjectionable haircuts, rotating both to cover
various ages and nationalities.…but the rotation idea was ultimately scrapped.
The Style Network appearance had local celebrity appeal, so I gave it relative
prominence on the home page — remaining as a footer
on internal pages also.
