Challenge: Ceate a jingle
to remind summertime radio listeners that a Sunoco Food Market is always
nearby while they're driving around, enjoying their summer
activities.
Solution: Write free-and-easy aspirational lyrics
with a "Catch the Sun" hook—and an "it's so easy when you're
on the run"
benefit statement.
(I wrote the lyrics first, then a composer set the words
to original music.)
I tried to write it more like a song than a jingle…although I did manage
to get the client's name mentioned five times!
